Personal Growth Counseling

Psychotherapy has traditionally focused on identifying what is wrong (pathology) and removing it. However, the absence of pathology does not necessarily mean the presence of joy and fulfillment. Even when we can make ends meet, we can still experience significant void in everyday life. Success coaches often would say the majority of what contributes to one’s success is psychology, not so much the knowledge and skills of what to do. How we feel about ourselves deep down (ex. whether the good things in life are for me) has huge implications on the direction we take in life. Knowing ourselves and working through the hidden parts of us that stand between us and our ideal life can be priceless. Life is not just about surviving but thriving.
